This exhibition of posters chosen from throughout the world is intended to provide a review of the current state of international poster design.

All entries must be the work of the entrant, printed in poster form on or after April 1, 2009.
Entries should be no smaller than 36.4cm×51.5cm(14.3 inch×20.3 inch)and no larger than 180.0cm×120.0cm (70.9 inch×47.3 inch), and must fall into one of the following two categories:
Printed and published posters
Unpublished poster in self-promotion (The theme may be of the artist’s choosing. However, the poster must contain the credit line “IPT 2012”.)
No more than three per an artist or a group in each category.
A single set of up to three posters may be submitted as a single work. However, prizes may be awarded on a partial basis to one or two of the posters in a set.

All entries must be received at the following address on or before JANUARY 15, 2012.

The National Jury will select posters to be displayed in the exhibition.
The International Jury will award prizes.

The following prizes will be awarded to winners:
| Grand-Prix: | 1,000,000 yen(one prize from the A/B categories) |
| Gold Prize: | 500,000 yen(two prizes from the A/B categories) |
| Silver Prize: | 300,000 yen(three prizes from the A/B categories) |
| Bronze Prize: | 100,000 yen(ten prizes from the A/B categories) |
This award, established by the Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc., will go to one winner from the A/B categories.
The winner will receive a certificate and 500,000 yen prize.
