This exhibition of posters chosen from throughout the world is intended to provide a review of the current state of international poster design.

All entries must be the work of the entrant, printed in poster after April 2006. Entries should be no smaller than 36.4cm x 51.5cm(14.3 inch x 20.3 inch) and no larger than 180cm x 120cm(70.9 inch x 47.3 inch), and must fall into either of the following two categories:
Printed and published posters
Unpublished poster in self-promotion (Its theme is freely. But it must be put the word “IPT2009” as credit.)
Not more than three per an artist or a group in each category. Each participant may submit less than a set of 3 posters that constitute a single work.

All entries must be received at the following address by March 20, 2009.

The National Jury will select all posters for the exhibition. The International Jury will award prizes.

The following prizes will be awarded to winners:
| Grand-Prix: | 1 million yen(one from both categories) |
| Gold Prize: | 500,000yen each(two prizes from both categories) |
| Silver Prize: | 300,000yen each(three prizes from both categories) |
| Bronze Prize: | 100,000yen each(ten prizes from both categories) |
This award, established by Japan Graphic Designers Association Inc., will go to one winner from both categories. The winner will receive a certificate and 500,000 yen prize.
