The museum holds about six special exhibition every year in order to introduce the phases of modern arts from 20th century up to the present time from various viewpoints. These special exhibition are full of variety and appeal such as the exhibition introducing the art scene of the world, contemporary arts of Japan or Toyama and the trend of design,mainly poster and chair. The museum also holds the exhibitions and events in which children can participate.
