In order to improve health promotion and disease prevention, it is very important for individuals to strive for good lifestyle habits and practice “Kenko-Zukuri” (Health Promotion).

Our strategy for “Kenko-Zukuri” is encouraging the efforts of our citizens with the support of the municipal officials, institutions and organizations in the health care field. We focus on the prevention of metabolic syndromes and the five areas of lifestyle change: nutrition/eating habits, physical exercise, relaxation/mental health, smoking, and drinking.
